In the past, a highly stress-resistant ohmic appliance was connected as a current sink to achieve the rated load required of the appliances and the heat subsequently generated was released into the surrounding atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the tremendous power loss which occurs during this process is no longer simply a waste, it is, for the most part fed back into the mains network \u2013 to the benefit of both manufacturers and the environment.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div><\/div><!--close column table wrapper. Repeated switching on and off may be used as an additional stress factor. Based on a model calculation, the burn-in test facilities would, under full ohmic load, generate a power loss of 140 kW in the form of heat and as a result, would waste energy worth more than \u20ac120,000 each year.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the recovery system, some \u20ac84,000 of this can be saved, since about 70% of the energy uptake is no longer wasted as heat, but reconverted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><footer class=\"entry-footer\"><\/footer><\/article>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-180","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.9 -
